Job Description:- 

 

Job Summary:- 
As an Azure Cloud Architect at Sapiens you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud solutions based on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs, craft robust cloud architectures, and oversee the implementation of these solutions. You will also provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful deployment and management of Azure-based services.

 

Key Responsibilities:- 
1. Cloud Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define cloud requirements, architect Azure-based solutions, and create design documentation
2.  Azure Services Implementation: Configure, deploy, and manage Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and more.
3.  Security and Compliance: Ensure that Azure environments are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices. Implement security measures, identity and access management (IAM), and data protection controls.
4.  Scalability and Performance: Optimize Azure solutions for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Implement auto-scaling and resource management strategies.
5.  Monitoring and Management: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and address issues. Use Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and other tools for effective management.
6.  DevOps Integration: Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and enable continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
7.   Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies to ensure high availability and business continuity.
8. Documentation: Create detailed documentation for architecture, configurations, and processes, making it accessible to internal teams and clients.
9.  Client Collaboration: Establish strong working relationships with clients, provide technical expertise, and address their questions and concerns.
10. Training and Mentoring:  Train and mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Qualifications:- 
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, and security.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

 

Preferred Qualifications:- 
- Azure-specific certifications in areas like Azure Security, Azure AI, or Azure Data.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions and multi-cloud environments.
