HR Data Analyst

Sapiens is looking for a talented and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics to provide insights that drive strategic HR decisions. This role involves analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, and helping optimize employee engagement, performance, retention, and overall HR processes. The HR Data Analyst will work closely with HR leadership, Talent Acquisition, OD, and other departments to deliver data-driven solutions that align with the company’s HR objectives and business goals. What you’ll do:
• Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze employee-related data from various HR systems (e.g., HRIS, ATS, LMS, Payroll, and Employee Surveys).
• HR Metrics & Reporting: Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs), including employee turnover, engagement, retention, performance, and compensation analysis.
• Employee Engagement Insights: Analyze employee satisfaction and engagement survey results to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving employee experience and retention.
• Diversity & Inclusion Reporting: Provide data and analysis to track progress against diversity and inclusion initiatives, and assist in identifying areas for improvement.
• Compensation & Benefits Analysis: Analyze salary and benefits data to ensure competitive compensation strategies, provide market comparisons, and identify trends.
• Performance Analytics: Collaborate with HR and business leaders to analyze employee performance data and identify trends to support talent development and leadership initiatives.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis & Special Projects: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis for various HR projects, including acquisitions, reorganizations, and other strategic initiatives.
What to Have for this position:
Must have Skills: -
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar HR-related analytics role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with HR software tools (e.g., HRIS such as Workday, ADP, or SuccessFactors).
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
• Strong ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights to HR leaders and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with predictive analytics and statistical modeling (e.g., regression analysis, clustering).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, employee engagement) and how they tie to business outcomes.
Good to have:-
• Advanced degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working in a large organization with complex data environments.
• Familiarity with machine learning or AI applications in HR (e.g., predictive modeling for employee turnover or recruitment trends).
• Experience with data automation or process optimization using tools like Python, R, or Alteryx.
