Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Great team player, innovator at heart with an excellent interpersonal skill who is passionate about technology, have a strong interest in the learning latest technologies
• B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
• With strong debugging skills, identify bugs and devise solutions to found problems
• Works with other developers and business teams in coordinating best possible solutions
• Flexible! As part of a small team will have the opportunity to work on many different things

Requirements

• More than 5+ years of hands-on experience with software development
• Excellent experience and working knowledge on Cobol, Assembler 370 in Z/OS and/or VM technologies is must.
• Good experience and implementation knowledge on C, Rexx, JCL, procedures
• Good experience and experience on CICS, IMS, MQ, TCP/IP, TSO, DB2, VSAM
• Experience in interfacing with Web/.Net front end systems
• Hands on experience with Windows/Unix/AIX OS platforms
• In depth understanding of various development processes, standards, and the ability to present their potential impact - mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals
• Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
• Agile / SCRUM Certification is a plus!
• Good problem solver. Can find answers and extend their own knowledge base as needed
• Understanding of source control systems and practices

Additional 

• Experience with Pervasive / Actian database
• General knowledge of Windows software installation systems
• Knowledge of GAP Accounting practices.
