Position Summary
We are looking for a Lead Technical Analyst who can lead the team of technical analysts and work as hands-on subject matter experts with our toolset assisting our clients and internal staff in defining, configuring and implementing our proprietary applications.
Responsibilities
· Work as a team lead, able to understand client’s requirements, translate that into executable technical projects, design the technical architecture, allocate the work to the team, implement and deliver the solutions
· Interact with various stakeholders like clients, employees & management. Able to solely manage client
· Able to manage and lead at least 5 to 7 technical analysts both from technical guidance as well as resource management perspective & lead multiple projects parallelly
· Own & manage end to end Implementation projects
· Document user interface and system integration requirements
· Document, research and assist in the resolution of issues throughout the SDLC
· Configure complex requirement including integration
· Act as liaison between the client implementation and the product development teams
· Support client development teams throughout all phases of application implementation
· In addition, job activities may include: Project coordination and project management
· Support the development and delivery of training materials
· Augment/Support QA staff with specific subject matter expertise
· Develop and maintain client and internal staff configuration related documentation
Experience & Skills:
· Experience of 6 to 8 years
· Lead and manage a team of Technical Analysts
· Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and attention-to-detail skills
· Ability to learn new and complex topics quickly
· Ability to work collaboratively with a team and as a strong independent contributor
· Ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with clients as well as colleagues
· Professional presence, exercising good judgment and taking initiative when necessary
· Experience with web-based application designs, experience in Insurance Policy Admin systems, e.g. Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.
· Configuration – web pages, templates, property files, CSS changes, etc.
· Familiarity with XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, AJAX, SQ
· Experience on any programming language is preferred
· Strong business and technology acumen required
· Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Excel, Word
· Bachelor’s Degree required; Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information, or Engineering is preferred
· Experience with data modeling
· Structured programming language background preferred
· Experience/Exposure to relational databases, Web development using
· HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript preferred
· Experience on Production support is preferred
· Familiarity with the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services / SOAP, and Meta Model-based architectures preferred
· Good verbal and written communication in English, Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment
