General Job Description:
 

We are seeking an experienced and proactive QA Manager to lead project test teams throughout the entire project lifecycle—from requirement definition to successful project completion and go-live—with a strong emphasis on quality for Reinsurance companies. This role involves defining the test strategy, planning and estimation, and implementing effective processes and methodologies.

Pre-Requisites – Knowledge & Experience:

• BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing – Required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a QA Manager or Test Manager – Required.
• Proven experience working in global high-tech environments, including managing offshore teams of 15+ members and managers – required.
• Background in the Reinsurance  industry – Huge advantage.
• Experience working in Agile development environments – Advantage.
• Experience working with Jira – Advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required.

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate teams to deliver on time.
• Skilled in managing multiple workstreams and client demands simultaneously under pressure.

• Proactive, initiative-driven mindset.
• Deep understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Define and lead the overall test strategy.
• Review and ensure accountability for test plans and reports.
• Monitor resource allocation across projects.
• Track milestones and manage escalations effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote a learning culture.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to align on schedules, expectations, and changes.
• Set clear goals and expectations for QA teams.
• Identify and mitigate QA-related risks; recommend actionable solutions.
• Manage and own testing activities across all releases.
• Generate and maintain management-level QA reports (daily, weekly, etc.).
