About the Job 

In Tia Services & Solutions we work with a 360° view of our customers, engaging in customer services, consulting services, and Tia solutions. Professional Services in Tia provides consulting services based on demands from customers and partners. As a Senior Developer you will deliver a variety of technical services to the Tia community worldwide. You will focus on implementing the Tia Solution for new customers, optimize and upgrade paths for existing customers and implement Tia’s Best Practices. Also, you will ensure customer use and adherence to the standard business processes that come with the Tia Solution. 

 Job purpose 

• Senior Developer will develop & design required TIA customizations.
• Technical design work, New development, configuration, and set up in relation to Tia implementations. 
• Performing and optimizing customers’ upgrades to new versions (7.x) of Tia Solution.
• To work closely with Stream Leads and Testing team to ensure a high-quality implementation of the defined solutions.
• Contributing to Technical Documentation within the project.
• Senior developer should be able to for fill following roles in project if needed Analyst, Developer, Tester, Team Lead.
• Ability to self-learn and fill the gap in knowledge with regards to newer versions of TIA by going through available training material and should be able to start delivering on the projects asap.
• Performance Optimization.

Duties and responsibilities 

• Create technical solution specifications.
• Consult business analysts and stream leads providing insights into better solution. 
• Ability to provide estimates for work assigned.
• Provide support throughout the project lifecycle in Development, SIT, UAT and production when needed.
• Acts as a role model/trusted advisor & usually contributes, either materially or through guidance, to multiple problems and projects at once.
• Continuous contribution to the improvement of Tia PS tools and Tia implementation accelerators & knowledge sharing repository.
• Drive Solution Design workshops internally or with customer.
• Ability to perform project tasks by his/her own without much supervision.

Requirements 

• Technical Working Experience with Oracle ADF is a must!
• B.E (IT or Computer Science or related fields).
• 5-8 years of Development experience in oracle ADF.
• Working as a system developer, working with Oracle-based business systems, development in Oracle ADF & Weblogic.
• Practical experience working with weblogic server(11g & 12c) deployment process.
• Experience with Oracle Metadata Services is a huge positive.
• SQL, PL/SQL Bash shell scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience with Agile or Waterfall project implementation methodologies.
• Excellent Insurance Knowledge.
• Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and English communication skills.

Optional (would be an advantage):

• Practical experience working with web services (SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST) and Java.
• Experience with defining IT architecture and infrastructure in co-operation with the client, along with standard solutions.
