Pre-Requisites & Knowledge:

• 5-7 years of experience as an engineer in performance engineering team
• 4+ years of experience with JMeter/Load Runner/NeoLoad or similar, load testing tool for analysis and measuring performance of services and web applications
• Ability to design robust load/performance test cases that can effectively identify performance issues
• Strong programming knowledge in Python/Java/JavaScript/Groovy and Functional programming 
• Good experience in JSON, CSV, Excel for analytics and reporting
• Good experience in SQL and No SQL
• Good hands on knowledge of using Linux OS
• Experience with Dynatrace/AppDynamics/Grafana to enhance observability
• Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Networking
• Good understanding of REST/SOAP
• Good understanding of web technologies and web architecture
• Experience in Python is an added advantage
• Understanding of CI/CD is an added advantage

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create performance/load/stress testing strategies and plans
• Design, setup, develop and execute (performance, load, stress) tests on Sapiens Digital suite using performance testing tools
• Performance analysis for application by collecting and analysing performance metrics using tools (Ex: Dynatrace, AppDynamics)
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solution to improve application performance during development and production
• Create performance test summary report and communicate with all stakeholders
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps, product owners for performance evaluation
• Suggest improvements in architecture and recommend solutions to improve it
• Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and work independently to deliver planned task(s) on time with best quality
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex issues, analyse data and propose effective solutions
• Learn new performance testing tools, technologies and suggest improvements in process and tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to details and customer focused.
