Senior Project Manager

Job Description:

• Proven experience of 15+ years as a project management professional manging high complex program. Handling projects in insurance/reinsurance domain is added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and Execution: Developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Team Leadership: Leading and motivating project teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicating project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
• Risk Management: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential project risks.
• Budget Management: Monitoring project costs, ensuring adherence to the budget, and managing cost variances.
• Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures and ensuring that project deliverables meet specified standards.
• Scope Management: Managing changes to the project scope, ensuring they are properly documented and approved.
• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving project issues, obstacles, and delays. 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master’s degree  
• Experience: Proven experience in project management, ideally with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Certifications:  Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2).
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project).

• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and Time Management: Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Problem-Solving and Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Ability to negotiate, resolve conflicts, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Technical Skills: Depending on the specific project type, technical skills may be required (e.g., understanding of software development processes, construction methodologies).
