Senior Security Architect



Responsibilities: -

  • Develop and integrate Cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilevel security requirements.
  • Develop and champion the Cybersecurity Secure configuration management processes
  • Assist in the development of secure architecture guidelines for the cloud, networks, systems, and endpoints.
  • Perform security reviews and assessments to identify gaps in security architecture and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate security architecture designs to determine the adequacy and secure design of the architecture being proposed.
  • Have experience with or a deep understanding of: Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management, Privilege Access Management, PKI & Network Admission Control, Corporate Security tools, including email security, web filtering, DNS security, end-point security, DLP, etc.
  • Experienced with Network Segmentation, micro-segmentation, network visibility & monitoring capabilities and Access controls.
  • This individual will be a member of the IT/Information Security team and is responsible for assessing, (re) designing, and architecting / integrating security technology solutions for the enterprise.
  • This role serves as a translator of policy and strategy into technology solutions and long-term integration to align security with the business needs.
  • Develop high-level planning, design, optimization, research, analysis, proposals, and solution delivery that align with the business and technology strategies within Security.
  • Develop Security strategies and direction for systems and solutions that use current and emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 7 years relevant information security experience, including 4 years in a significant security architecture role(s) with a broad exposure to Cloud and DevSecOps, infrastructure/network and multiplatform environments required.
  • Strong background and hands-on security experience with at least one cloud provider services as Azure or AWS
  • Professional security management certifications, such as Cloud Security Engineer, CCSP, OSCP, CCIE, CISM, CISSP, or other similar credentials are preferred
  • Zero Trust framework experience
  • Proven ability in security process and organizational design.
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills - the ability to conceptualize complex business and technical requirements into comprehensible models and templates.
  • Team-oriented interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with a broad range of individuals and roles, including IT and vendors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security and risk-related concepts to technical audiences.
  • Proven track record and experience in developing information security architectures and standards.
  • Diagnosing, isolating/resolving complex issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems required
  • Integrating processes, methodology and tools required
  • Plan and recommend security related systems management, software, and architecture
