Solution Architect: Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Globally: 15 years of experience.
  • B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience frontend and backend systems architecture, owning complete solutions end to end and driving the overall solution/infrastructure architecture, including but not limiting to:
    • Proven track record of engineering large-scale, high availability, and consumer web applications;
    • Ability to understand unfamiliar codebases, debug client, and service side applications;
    • Strong product design & development experience in an Agile development environment.
  • 10+ years experience hands-on development and design experience in relevant technologies
    • One or more frontend frameworks especially React.js., and HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript / jQuery; Mongo DB
    • Deep knowledge of ReactJS + ecosystem, practices, and commonly used modules;
    • Experience with microservices architecture, preferably in cloud environments and backend architecture;
    • Knowledge and proven experience in continuous integrations and design of deployment (CI/CD), DevOps tools, and methodologies.
  • As well as:
    • Excellent creative thinking together with debugging / troubleshooting / problem-solving skills;
    • Excellent communication and collaborative skills;
    • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks independently and to generate clarity in ambiguous situations;
    •  
  • Provide Quick Solution (Design & Implement) for problems which are not solved by the project teams or required for a POC.
  • Develop proof-of-concept in support of future product concept/Demo
  • Periodically review all the Delivery projects and provide them technical guidance
  • Should have good experience with estimation.
  • Ability to review and recommend alternative solutions for different projects.
  • Knowledge in modern architectural methods and patterns such as Cloud Computing and Containers (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of performing high level design.
  • Troubleshooting complex technical problems in development and production environments
  • Should be hand on – need to do coding when situation demands.
  • Should review the project progress regularly and provide recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate well with executives.
  • Mentoring/Coaching leads and senior members in the team
  • Work closely with Technical Project Managers and guide them on the solutions required.
  • Mentor next level developers to groom them to next level.
  • Conduct a regular technical session to improve the technical skills of the team.
  • Work with presale team to understand the new opportunities and run sessions with customer.
  • Estimate the new opportunities working with new Presale team.
