We are looking for Tia Implementation Consultants with international outlook and experience from the IT-insurance industry for Tia Professional Services in Colombia. About the Job 
In Tia Services & Solutions we work with a 360° view of our customers, engaging in customer services, consulting services and Tia solutions. Professional Services in Tia provides consulting services based on demands from customers and partners. As a Tia Implementation Consultant / Developer, you will deliver a variety of technical services to the Tia community worldwide. You will focus on implementing the Tia Solution for new customers, optimize and upgrade paths for existing customers and implement Tia’s Best Practices. Also, you will ensure customer use and adherence to the standard business processes that come with the Tia Solution.

Overall purpose of role

Expected key responsibilities:
•    Implement new functionalities / fix defects (code / configuration). 
•    Develop new solutions.
•    Do technical analysis, summarize, and present findings.
•    Prepare and present technical solution designs.
•    Participate or lead technical product and skills workshops.
•    Review requirements and technical design along with QA of set-up, design, architecture, and infrastructure.
•    Optimize performance.
•    Contribute to requirements documents, validate requirements received and proactively suggest different alternatives.
•    Prepare technical design / configuration documents.
•    Conduct technical workshops.
•    Prepare and deliver technical TIA trainings.
•    Build solution based on TIA core functionality and best practices.
•    Proactively communicate with the customer, leads, managers, analysis, and testing teams (up to project team structure).
•    Coach and mentor more junior team members, through workshops and peer reviews.
•    Contribute to TIA implementation templates, frameworks, tools and suppor TIA PS Centre of Excellence.
•    Provide support throughout the project lifecycle (Design, execution, SIT, UAT, go-live activities as well as application maintenance when / if applicable).
•    Understand the difference between bespoke and standard solutions.

•    Risk and Control:
o    Understand the appropriate policies & standards applicable to the role through reading the Sapiens Code of Conduct and other training assigned. Where responsible for risks and controls ensure that these are appropriate and fit for purpose.  
o    Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Global and Local Sapiens policies and standards.

Requirements:

Skills, knowledge, and certifications:
Essential:
•    2+ years of experience as an Oracle PLSQL developer or 2+ years of experience with TIA solution.
•    Experience with Oracle SQL / PLSQL.
•    Fluency in English and Spanish.
•    Demonstrated experience of implementing technical solutions / changes.
•    Ability to translate Your technical knowledge into useful, structured, practical advice.
•    Analytical skills.
Optional (would be an advantage):
•    Knowledge of agile scrum methodology would be advantageous.
•    Experience with insurance information systems would be advantageous. 
•    Experience with TIA solution.
•    Experience with Oracle ADF / forms / Weblogic.
•    Experience web services (SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST) and Java.
•    Experience with defining IT architecture and infrastructure in co-operation with the client, along with standard solutions; methodologies and project planning.
Other Person Specifications: 
•    University degree in related discipline.
•    Additional language knowledge.
•    Willingness to travel to clients' sites (optional).
