Technical Team Lead / Project Delivery Manager
We are looking for Team Lead / Delivery Manager with international outlook and experience from the IT-insurance industry for Tia Professional Services in Colombia to spearhead TIA projects in Spanish-speaking countries across Latin America. Joining Tia Services & Solutions organization, you'll be integral to our commitment to delivering a comprehensive 360° approach to customer engagement, encompassing customer services and consulting.

 

About the Job 
Professional Services in Tia provides consulting services based on demands from customers and partners. As a Team Lead / Delivery Manager, your primary focus will be steering projects to success by ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of agreed-upon scopes within set timelines and optimal customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include managing delivery process, technical approach, scope, as well as collaborating with internal and external teams worldwide to design and implement tailored solutions based on client needs. Effective communication and coordination with team members are paramount, along with the ability to oversee and track multiple workstreams and projects.

Expected key responsibilities:
•    Manage delivery process, scope and technical approach effectively. 
•    Contribute to detailed project plans, progress reports, coordinate work distribution within given stream or project.
•    Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure solutions align with client needs.
•    Participate or lead workshops with clients.
•    Report progress internally and externally.
•    Plan, manage, and coordinate multiple workstreams.
•    Ensure on-time service delivery while upholding high-quality standards.
•    Contribute to requirements documents.
•    Help design / validate solution based on TIA core functionality and best practices.
•    Proactively communicate with the customer, leads, managers, analysis, development, and testing teams (up to project team structure).
•    Coach and mentor more junior team members, through workshops and peer reviews.
•    Contribute to TIA templates, frameworks, tools and suppor TIA PS Centre of Excellence.
•    Drive and support project organization throughout end-to-end delivery cycle (Design, execution, SIT, UAT, go-live activities as well as application maintenance when / if applicable).
•    Motivate team members and proactively address potential risks or malfunctions.

Skills, knowledge, and certifications:
Essential:
•    5+ years of delivery management / team leading experience in Insurance/Banking industry or 7+ years in TIA projects (senior or expert role).
•    Fluency in English and Spanish.
•    Experience and understanding of the different delivery frameworks: agile/scrum, waterfall, and hybrid.
•    Leadership, communication, and team management skills.
•    Analytical skills.
•    Willingness and ability to travel.
•    Ability to make important decisions under pressure.
•    Problem-solving and negotiating skills.

 

Desirable (would be an advantage):
•    Experience with insurance information systems would be advantageous. 
•    Experience with TIA solution.
•    Experience with Oracle SQL / PLSQL.
•    Experience with Oracle ADF / forms / Weblogic.
•    Experience web services (SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST) and Java.
•    Experience with defining IT architecture and infrastructure in co-operation with the client, along with standard solutions; methodologies and project planning.
•    Experience with OCI, Azure, AWS, or other major cloud platform.
•    Industry related certificates like Prince2, PMP, Agile, etc.


Other Person Specifications: 
•    University degree in related discipline.
•    Additional language knowledge (Portuguese is a bit advantage).
•    Understand the difference between bespoke and standard solutions.
