Job Description

The Director of FP&A, Denmark, is responsible for the efforts, results and success of an organization’s finance department. He/she provides financial advice and support to help local and group senior executives make key decisions. In addition, he/she will be responsible for all financial aspects of a new deal or contract, including P&L, proposals, commercial terms. Pricing and customer facing issues.

 

Report to: Divisional VP finance; Matrix into Country Manager, Denmark.

 

Main Responsibilities

The FP&A Director, Denmark, main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Supervising the finance team in the facilitation of the day-to-day operations;
  • Acts as the lead financial person of the region for all Finance aspects.
  • Providing support in all financial/commercial aspects related to the entire sales cycle as well as with ongoing relations with the customers.
  • Providing financial support to all deal cycle from deal initiation to final contract, including financial model (P&L, cash flow, tax, etc.), and contract negotiation.
  • Preparing a detailed yearly budget;
  • Providing monthly and quarterly forecast;
  • Interpreting complex financial information and providing updates and information as required;
  • Implementing and maintaining financial systems in accordance with the group guidelines and policy;
  • Work with senior leadership team to understand and address process challenges & identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting local management in the definition of strategic plancollaborating with local sales team on pricing, margins and costs, supervising the local budget of each area;
  • Build strong relationship across functions within the company, work closely with various functions (Accounting, HR, etc.)

Qualifications

With a dual finance and business expertise and strong influencing skills, our ideal candidate brings a high level of integrity and commitment to the company's results.

He/she has high analysis and problem-solving skills, as well as critical thinking, together with great decision-making abilities.

  • At least 5 years in a similar role in an international Organization with priority given to high-tech industry experience.
  • Advanced degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
  • High level of competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel model design and creation
  • Experience in managing complex deals.
  • Very high financial analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in Budget management and Financial Analysis.
  • High planning, organization, reporting and presentation skills and a superior attention to details.
  • Solid team management experience and with great communication skills.
  • A team player comfortable working in a matrix and international set up.

 

Languages

Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
