Sales Executive DACH

Sapiens Germany is urgently seeking the expertise of a highly motivated Sales hunter to help us achieve our business goals in the DACH region. The role will be home-based from within Germany, remote working.
Our ideal candidate will live in or near a major city as frequent travel is required throughout DACH and occasionally beyond. It is expected that you will be on the road 3-4 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Expand sales to new clients as well as existing clients and achieve annual quotas for Sapiens Insurance suite of products in the region, with a primary focus on Germany.
- Build opportunity pipeline and manage opportunity plans to win.
- Be responsible for the definition, development, and execution of sales strategy, as well as the full sales cycle, from initiation to closure including, but not limited to:
- Accurately assessing and qualifying opportunities to ensure sales effort and resource are expended effectively.
- Undertaking and be accountable for all necessary lead generation activities to drive penetration of target organizations and generate new logo acquisition.
- Drawing on resources from business development, marketing and partners as needed to achieve this goal.
- Developing compelling business cases to justify investment in Sapiens solutions.
- Engaging and working confidently with Senior Business management and C-level executives, to progress sales opportunities.
- Produce regional monthly forecasts and hereby enable sales management to consolidate accurate projections.
Requirements:
- 10+ years’ complex software sales experience ideally within the Insurance or Fintech industries.
- A passion for penetrating new markets, detecting and leveraging new opportunities, managing sales cycles from initiation up to closure.
- A proven track record of high-value deals ($5m+) end-to-end management is a must.
- The ability to influence and to build trusted relationships at clients all the way up to C-level executives.
- A solid business understanding of Insurance or Financial Services, including the technology and platforms available.
- A consultative sales approach.
- Self-organised.
- The ability to lead a team for large deal pursuit.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the DACH region.
- Excellent German and English are must-haves; additional languages would be an advantage.
- Experienced in working with large multinational corporates.
