Job Description

The Agile Program Manager (Scaled Scrum Master / Solution Train Engineer) is responsible for facilitating the collaborative work of multiple large product teams to deliver a cohesive platform.

This role coordinates the tasks, dependencies, risks, and timelines across the various teams, communicates status, unblocks issues, and coaches team leads to foster effective collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the Scaled Agile across multiple Agile Product Teams, ensuring alignment and seamless integration of work.
  • Coordinate task dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines between teams working on the shared platform product.
  • Communicate project status, risks, changes, and roadblocks to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments impacting team productivity and delivery.
  • Coach product team leads on Agile best practices, facilitating retrospectives and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing culture among the cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure effective knowledge sharing, process improvement, and scaling of Agile practices.
  • Optimize the flow of work, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks across the value stream.
  • Serve as a servant leader, guiding teams and stakeholders through complex problems.

 

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, ideally in a large-scale, enterprise environment
  • Deep understanding of one or more Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, and SAFe
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically to coordinate multiple interdependent teams.
  • Strong program management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in scaling Agile practices and leading organizational transformation.
  • Collaborative leadership style with a coaching mindset.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, DevOps, and project management tools.
