Job Description:

The Operations Director at Sapiens Cloud Services (SCS) is a pivotal role within the SCS unit, responsible for overseeing operational aspects such as methodology, knowledge management, and cross-initiative tools. This role ensures uniformity, productivity, and quality across unit processes. The Director will be the main focal point for SCS Management, Divisions Finance and Corporate Information Systems, managing the SCS Operations team and cross unit various programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Processes: Participate in strategic decision-making and processes, collaborating with the Head of Unit on various materials and communications.
  • Business Operations: Oversee the unit's business operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources and processes.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead the MGS portfolio management team to track and monitor cross-unit activities and actions.
  • Service Desk Management: Supervise the Service Desk team to ensure efficient and effective support for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Service Now Implementation: Gather user requirements, set priorities, design high-level solutions, and collaborate with corporate Information Systems for implementation.
  • Onboarding new Customers:  Responsible for onboarding new customers to Service Now.
  • Innovation and Implementation: Innovate, design, and lead the implementation of SCS management tools utilizing various technologies like PowerBi.
  • FinOps Management: Manage the SCS FinOps stream, overseeing all aspects of budget planning, controlling, and reporting for cloud, labor, and third-party expenses.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Management Experience: At least 6 years in similar management roles, with proven experience managing project managers.
  • International Experience: Experience working in international organizations and managing multi-cultural teams.
  • Client Engagement: Strong experience working with C-level executives and international clients.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with financial or insurance organizations is an advantage.
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, CMM, SOC, ISO27001 certifications are advantageous.
  • Leadership: Ability to hire, mentor, coach, and develop globally dispersed high-performing teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Native or fluent English is a must.
