Enterprise Architect:

Sapiens is looking for a SaaS Manager and Enterprise Architect to lead the journey of all products to SaaS, with architectures that support upgradability, customization, scalability, and optimal use of the cloud native resources.

As our Enterprise Architect You will lead the SaaS program and work with the CTOs and products Architects on the roadmap and the stages. You will guide the design, development and follow up on the progress in all products.

You will need also work closely with Sapiens CTIO on projects that create one infrastructure to all the products, commonality between the products and adoption to cloud environment using the native cloud capabilities.

 

Job Description:

  1. Lead Architecture Strategy and Planning:
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, such as product managers, development teams, and executives, to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural strategies.
    • Define the long-term technology roadmap and architectural vision, ensuring it supports business growth, scalability, and innovation.
    • Conduct feasibility studies and recommend appropriate technology solutions to address complex business problems.
  2. Establish and Maintain Architecture Baseline:
    • Define and implement an enterprise architecture framework, including standards, guidelines, and best practices.
    • Develop and maintain an architecture baseline for all software products, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives.
    • Regularly review and update the architecture baseline to accommodate evolving business needs and technological advancements.
  3. Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment and effective execution of projects.
    • Promote effective communication and collaboration across departments, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and cross-team problem-solving.
    • Lead and mentor a team of architects, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  4. Architecture Governance and Compliance:
    • Define and enforce architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations, security requirements, and quality standards.
    • Conduct regular architecture reviews and audits to identify potential risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to enterprise architecture, and proactively recommend their adoption when appropriate.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align the architectural vision with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Engage with product managers, business stakeholders, and customers to understand their needs, provide architectural guidance, and drive customer-centric solutions.
    • Communicate complex architectural concepts and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in architecture/ senior leadership R&D roles, with a focus on software product development and integration.
  • Strong technical & leadership skills.
  • Knowledge in the cloud environment and capabilities (preferable Azure).
  • Strong knowledge in SaaS product development.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and DevOps.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure software architectures.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms based on business requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
