IT Cloud and System Team Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Infrastructure Team Lead to join our growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of IT infrastructure specialists and ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in managing and improving our technology stack to support our business operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of IT infrastructure professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings, set objectives, and track progress to achieve department goals.

2. Infrastructure Management:

• Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including virtualization, servers, networks, storage, and data centers.
• Oversee system and network administration, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

3. Project Management:

• Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, including hardware and software upgrades, migrations, and system integrations.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and manage project budgets and timelines.

3. Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide technical expertise and support for complex infrastructure issues and incidents.
• Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated problems.

5. Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the company's data and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

6. Capacity Planning:

• Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity, making recommendations for upgrades and improvements as needed.

6. Vendor Management:

• Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective solutions.

8. Documentation: 

• Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure, including configurations, procedures, and incident reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, AWS) are a plus.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure management and team leadership.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards.
• Expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) – Must.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), cloud computing – Must
• Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
