The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Integration Development Manager to lead our integration development group. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, self-sufficiency, and a passion for driving seamless integration solutions. This role will be responsible for overseeing the architecture, design, development, implementation, quality, and performances of integration solutions that connect various systems and applications, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency across the organization.

 

This position is based in Israel, Standard office hours, with flexibility for remote work as needed.

Occasional travel may be required.

 

Job Description:

  • Lead and mentor a group of integration developers, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
  • Manage and lead the product development, support and implementation of the product integration support delivery and deployment.
  • Responsible to achieve the integration development targets per agreed timeline and budget.
  • Accountable for the quality of the technical design and code, including performance.
  • Define and enforce best practices, processes & tools.
  • Work closely with senior management, customers and with global teams to achieve goals.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to see the big picture whilst being knowledgeable with the product details.
  • Managing team size of up to 40 employees.
  • Full responsibility for the integration code implementation and quality – architecture, integrations, technical governance, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Full responsibility for your product area delivery, integrations, quality, etc.
  • Develop a high performing team of full-stack developers.
  • Manage cross organizational activities, initiatives, and projects.
  • Research and suggest new technologies to improve scale and performance.
  • Strong relationship and team management with colleagues, customers, sales, regions, partners, services, and product groups.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of hands-on work experience in software engineering, including 4+ years of proven technical management experience.
  • Strong technical skills with Proven experience in Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate, Maven, EJB, SQL) - Must!
  • Strong technical skills in integration technologies such as APIs (REST or SOAP) ETL tools, and middleware platforms.
  • Experience in working with MS-SQL or other relational DB.
  • Experience in designing a microservices architecture and releasing using continuous deployment.
  • Experience in leading Agile teams and strong expertise with Agile/Scrum methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding cloud system architecture -Experience with at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS), and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security (security by design) best practices on cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Insure Tech experience - Advantage.
  • Experience working with international teams - Advantage.
  • Excellent English and Hebrew skills (good verbal and written communication skills).
  • Good learner and self-starter, and a team player, ready for the next challenge.
  • Natural leader, leading by example. Excellent leadership, collaboration, people coaching, communication and change management skills.
  • Visionary and decisive leadership with the ability to inspire staff and others across the organization.
