Product Strategy And Marketing Director AI

The Role:

As an expert in the AI Industry, Product Marketing holds a pivotal role in crafting the product offering. Product Marketing will focus on the successful promotion and positioning of Sapiens AI solutions and generally lead the concept of how AI solutions are embedded into Sapiens software platforms.

He/she conceives and develops market analysis practices, understands the market dynamics, helps in creating and conceiving product roadmap and future vision, and helps execute innovative marketing programs that drive demand, develop the company’s position as a leader in its category, creates and executes on an integrated plan with sales to deliver significant business growth, including enabling the sales team to achieve targets.  He/she brings strong influencing skills.

Working with multiple interfaces- software, gen AI, and enterprise.

 

Reports to: Chief Strategy Officer, Sapiens

Job Description:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends. Use this data to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to leading the strategic full-lifecycle AI capabilities planning process, including individual product plans, product line plans, the product innovation pipeline, and product roadmap.
  • Product Positioning: Define and refine the unique value proposition of the product, positioning it effectively in the market to address customer pain points and differentiate it from competitors.
  • Content Creation: Create compelling marketing collateral, including product messaging, sales presentations, website content, case studies, customer workshops, and other materials that communicate the product's benefits to customers.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, including target audience segmentation and marketing campaigns.
  • Campaign Management: work with the marketing department to plan and execute marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to generate leads, drive product awareness, and support sales efforts.
  • Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback and insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and enhancement.
  • Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the competitive landscape to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions for ongoing improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product development, sales, and other teams to ensure alignment on product strategies and effective communication across the organization.

 

Requirements:

  • An expert in the AI domain with 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience in product marketing/business consultancy/product & market development in the Life insurance space.
  • Experience in market analysis, product-market fit, roadmap development, and marketing activities.
  • Ability to develop and manage all aspects of product positioning and vision, experience in leading discussions with senior peers and colleagues across sales/marketing/product management to define the process for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and collaterals.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills (including speaking at industry events).
  • Adept at developing effective working relationships with peers, managers, and senior management within and across organizational lines, and working effectively and cooperatively with customers and vendors.
  • Self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment and with a strong ability to anticipate challenges and work assertively to solve problems with a cross-functional team.
  • Adjusts well to changes, situations, and periods of ambiguity (e.g., different management styles, new methods, systems, and procedures) and changing priorities within the business and the marketplace.
  • Ability to multi-task, with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with expert skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with jobs-to-be-done, Design Thinking, and/or Pragmatic Marketing certification is strongly preferred.
  • International work experience in a matrix setup – Advantage.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a similar field is required. M.B.A. preferred.
