Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team in a multinational company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records up to the balance sheet level, managing authority reports, employee reimbursements, credit card transactions, fixed assets, and performing balance sheet reconciliations. This role requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAPB1), as well as the ability to work in a multi-currency environment.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping records up to the balance sheet level.
- Handle employee reimbursements, tax authority payments, credit card transactions, and fixed assets management.
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations and ensure alignment with the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with a team of bookkeepers to support the company's financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
- Support audits and assist in resolving discrepancies when necessary.
What to Have for this position:
- 5+ years of experience as a bookkeeper in a multinational company - Must.
- Bookkeeping certificate types 1+2 - Must.
- Bookkeeping certificate type 3 – Advantage.
- Proven experience working in a multi-currency environment.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal) - Must.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in advanced functions and formulas.
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAPB1, but other ERP systems are considered).
- A team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex financial matters.
- Highly organized, service-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
