Job Description

The Program Director is a business executive who understands and manages the delicate balance of ensuring profitable growth of Sapiens’ business in a defined account/territory, ensuring quality project delivery, achieving its financial targets while assuring that the customer's satisfaction and loyalty are optimized.

The Program Director is the central, most significant and senior role at the heart of Sapiens’ customer-facing operations. The effective and efficient execution of the Program Director role governs the overall business performance of the company and is hence seen as critical by the company. The Program Director has ultimate responsibility for the customer and although cooperation and teamwork are required, it is the Program Director who has the final authority regarding customer-facing matters.


Main Responsibilities

4 main areas of responsibility:

  • Customer management:

•Responsible for the well-being of long-term customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

•Works to be valued by the customer as a trusted advisor and reliable focal point for business and systems issues.

  • Growth management:

•Drives constantly to grow the Sapiens business with the customer, by identifying and promoting business opportunities were Sapiens added value is needed.

•Penetrates new segments within existing customers.

  • Delivery Management:

•The Program Director is the final point of accountability for ensuring quality, timely and on-budget delivery of Sapiens operations, solutions, and projects.

•The Program Director works hand in hand with the delivery managers to optimize delivery.

  • P&L Management:

•Manages the P&L for the Sapiens business with the customer and responsible for meeting the AOP targets.

•Continuingly focusing on lowering the total cost of ownership for the customer.


•10+ years’ management experience (staff and budget responsibility) in services delivery within a global enterprise software solutions company, ideally in the Insurance or in the Banking Industry.

• 3+ years’ experience with Agile implementation,

•Proven experience leading clients and engagement teams through the delivery of complex software solutions.

•Excellent client relationship management skills and the ability to play a trusted advisor to C-level customer executives.

•Proven track record of successful solution delivery with demonstrated success in managing multiple complex projects, juggling competing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

•Seasoned manager with the ability to hire, mentor, coach and develop a globally dispersed high performing Professional Services team.

•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

•Excellent problem-solving skills.

•Excellent written and verbal skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).

•Occasional travel is required.
