Role Description:

 

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic relationships with key customers, maintaining and developing business.
He/she also solves problems, analyzes data and contributes to strategic planning to maximize revenue and retention of key customers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Serve as a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsor
  • Lead the relationship with existing customers, listen to their business challenges, identify needs, understand their issues and propose solutions.
  • Personally negotiate commercial contracts with clients and in coordination with the different areas.
  • Identify areas of improvement and work to implement recommended changes
  • Ensure, together with the Operations area, the smooth running of projects and intervene in the relationship with the client when necessary.
  • Liaise and coordinate the resources directly located in the client's office, generating a link between the company, employee, and client to ensure solutions are in line with their needs and strategies     
  • Seek out new business opportunities, maintaining relationships and establishing lasting relationships with accounts/clients
  • Conduct sales visits, company presentations and offerings.
  • Making tailor-made offers to each client, supporting the areas involved.
  • Develop opportunities from the first lead until close and follow up on ongoing opportunities.
  • Develop annual budget and meet revenue, contribution and new sales targets.
  • Represent Sapiens at events, trade shows and other forums.
  • Establish and direct operational and administrative procedures related to sales activities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • At least 5 years of business development / sales experience with technology solutions for the insurance industry.
  • Experience in the functions described above.
  • Commercial skills, negotiation, analysis, effective communication, active listening and ability to find win-win solutions.
  • Updated technological knowledge of different solutions, profiles and trends.
  • Excellent team player with dynamic and effective cross functional collaboration.
  • Fluent English.
