Pre-Sales Engineer

Sapiens’ Managed Services Division is urgently seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join us on our journey to increase our presence as an MSP in the Insurance market.

We provide our customers with end-to-end solutions that comprise not only of cutting-edge products and excellent product delivery, but also World Class service and support. 

This is a brand-new role for the US and an exciting opportunity to make a difference in this now fast-growing area of our business.

About the role …

Sapiens will be drawing upon your previous experience working for an IT MSP to:

  • Be the main point of contact for our customers, from the RFP phase until “Go Live”.
  • Meet with potential customers and present our Managed Services solutions to them (travel to some potential prospects may therefore be required)
  • Develop and enhance our solution presentations by tailoring them according to the customer, and by using your knowledge of how moving to the Cloud can affect a customer’s P&L
  • Learn as much as possible about the customer’s business – main business, customer working procedures, interfaces with external resources etc, and to take responsibility for decisions and solutions
  • Collaborate with colleagues across a number of different divisions, namely, Sales, Project and Cloud Architect teams in order to design and price the right solution
  • Work with a sense of urgency to meet agreed timescales and to drive the relevant teams to a successful outcome
  • Continuously keep informed of the latest advances in Cloud technologies and advise the business accordingly, helping us to keep ahead.

 

Skills and requirements you need to be successful in this role …

  • A background in IT managed services, having a full understanding of SLAs, Entitled Services Consulting Hours, Reports and ITIL
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and IT Support
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security, Compliance (ISO, SOC), ServiceDesk, ServiceNow, would be a big advantage
  • An excellent problem-solver – using rigorous analysis, and by drawing information from a wide range of sources
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent business relationship management skills
  • Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • A willingness to learn and keep learning in this fast-growing market
