Your responsibilities:
This position will cover a variety of responsibilities, some main areas will include:
- Further develop and improve Sapiens CoreSuite framework for tax and regulation the US and other North American countries, including regulatory consulting for both group and individual products.
- Develop and improve Sapiens models for reserving and technical provisions with actuarial science / analytical capacity in projects.
- Participating in pre-sales processes
- Participating in requirement gathering workshops
- Meeting with our client’s stakeholders: Management, IT individuals, actuaries, accountants etc.
- Collaborate with key leaders to identify and meet information needs
- Establish actuarial procedures and document them for internal use
- Writing project solution documents
- Insurance strategy consulting: products, coverages, underwriting etc.
- Actuarial system related work: product configuration, processes documentation, complicated calculations models
Who are you:
- To thrive in Sapiens, you should be able to face challenges with a positive attitude and with dedication. You should be professional, structured and service minded.
- Your qualifications should include a recognized actuarial certification in North America, preferably Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
- Work experience: proven life and annuity experience, preferably including several years of experience as a consulting actuary. We will consider both more junior and more senior candidates.
- Good SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of at least one programming language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with good commercial sense
- Bright team player, who works effectively under pressure
- Be able to work with a variety of people, in a global team
- Experience with system design or testing
