Overview

Our DevOps team uses the custom tools and process to help deliver code and configuration to our customers. In this position, you will help with day-to-day release delivery tasks in addition to helping the group develop new tools to streamline the tasks and bring automation using new technology or tools. This position will also extend to help with DevOps tasks on third party application included within the CoreSuite for MPL solution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain and evolve DevOps workflows to build and deliver MPL solutions from code to production, and design new flows for new and existing solutions to align with technology and business requirements.
• Support the installation of all components needed for the CoreSuite Solution including 3rd party applications such as WebLogic, Pentaho, GhostDraft.
• Deploy new API images to existing customers and internal AWS/AZURE environments.
• Support customers with technical consultation on deploying patches and resolve errors as they arise.
• Ensure all processes are properly and appropriately documented.
• Lead Process improvement initiative to automate the process and increase throughput for patch applies and deliveries with the existing team.  
• Develop and work with the development team on formalizing the DevOps process for the OASIS APIs
• Hands-on Linux Infrastructure Administration for J2EE, database and other server environments.
• Configuration and maintenance of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Perforce etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information science / information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
• 8+ years’ experience with DevOps in a package solution setup. Prior experience with OASIS patches would be a plus.
• Prior experience with enterprise Linux environments a plus
• 3+ Years’ experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud deployments
• Experienced in using and write scripts in Perl one OS scripting language (such as Bash).
• Extensive experience with designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation solutions.
• Experience with managing Java applications at production level.
• Experience maintaining a source control repository such as Perforce, SVN or Git
• Strong understanding of internetworking.
• Strong understanding of modern HTTP communications, and related concepts such as TLS.
