Experienced Java Developer

Project:

Our client is one of the most recognizable insurance brands in the UK. The projects we have implemented and maintained for this customer range from traditional annual car insurance to Netflix-like insurance subscription service. Working on the project you will go through the challenges of implementing web solutions and handling hundreds of thousands of customers each day. You will go through the full software development lifecycle - gathering the requirements, system design and implementation, and deployment in the cloud. All of that is accompanied by a friendly team of experienced professionals.

Main duties include: 

• Responsibility for providing solutions/workarounds to customers’ problems, in a fast and professional manner, in conjunction with the development team, within SLA restrictions
• Supporting our UK customer service team with 2nd level support
• Providing remote product and installation consultancy
• Address client's tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking.
• Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues
• Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
• Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
• Record technical issues and solutions in tickets
• Prepare Help create technical documentation and manuals.

Requirements:

• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. 
• SQL knowledge
• Understanding or intermediate knowledge of Java
• Customer-oriented attitude
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Flexibility to work beyond working hours when required
• Self-sufficient personality with a customer-oriented attitude, service-oriented, results-driven, team player with good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and provide solutions 

Considered as an advantage:
