About the Job:
In this role, you will lead an Agile scrum team, including business analysts, developers, and QAs, to ensure the successful planning and delivery of high-performance integration projects. You’ll work closely with customers to define needs, gather requirements, and manage project backlogs, while collaborating with the project delivery manager and other key stakeholders to optimize the delivery pipeline and meet deadlines efficiently.
Tasks include:
- Lead the Development Process: Take charge of the entire SDLC, with a special focus on integration delivery, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production.
- Client-Focused Delivery: Play an active role in delivering top-notch software solutions, collaborating closely with clients to meet their needs.
- Documentation and Project Deliverables: Ensure all project documentation and deliverables are completed on time, from requirements to design and output.
- Consult and Advise: Serve as a trusted consultant during requirement and design workshops, offering expert guidance both internally and externally.
- Support and Design: Provide functional analysis, design advice, and consultancy throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development during the build phase.
- Project Management: Collaborate with the Project Director/Delivery Manager to manage all project deliverables, actions, risks, and constraints.
- Agile Leadership: Support or act as the Product Owner, helping to define and refine the backlog and reviewing user stories.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Review test scripts, participate in peer reviews, and support testing to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Client Support: Assist clients through go-live, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Best Practices: Uphold and apply Sapiens’ best practices throughout all processes.
What to Have for this position:
Must have Skills:
- Experience: At least 5 years as a Business Analyst/Technical Business Analyst with deep understanding and hands-on experience in end-to-end SDLC processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, SOAP/REST web services, and ETL processes, along with a solid grasp of integration architecture and industry best practices.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in financial services (Life, Pensions, or banking/Investments) and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Project Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical integration Agile scrum teams and implementing significant functional changes.
- Client Interaction: Experience in customer-facing roles, providing solutions and support, with the flexibility to travel internationally.
- Communication: Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good to have Skills:
- Insurance Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance IT systems, particularly policy administration systems.
- Early-Stage Project Experience: Experience in supporting pre-sales and scope definition activities during the early stages of a project.
- Systems Integration: Expertise in systems integration and experience using tools like Jira and Git.
