Overview:

An experienced and talented IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer with strong engineering skills to lead a team of engineers in our rapidly growing Cloud Infrastructure Services team. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with multiple hosted clients to evaluate and engineer new technologies, architect, and design new solutions, and implement new technologies. As part of a larger Cloud Services team, you will have a key role in providing valuable contribution to business and information technology stakeholders and solve business and technical challenges. The candidate fulfilling the role will be expected to support customer projects from initiation through completion, collaborating with other Sapiens team members and customer resources to help execute Cloud Services strategies, achieve goals and objectives, and improve business and operations. The candidate is expected to play a significant role in customer engagements while maintaining additional internal (non-client) responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team responsible for managing and maintaining the company's various Cloud infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategies, roadmaps, and solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure security, availability, and performance of could hosted environments.
  • Contribute to planning, design, implementation, and configuration of cloud infrastructure technologies including network services, virtualization technologies, email services and core infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, File/Print services, Network Policy Services, Private Key Infrastructure, etc.
  • Monitor and manage IT operational performance, including incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and business development teams to provide technical expertise and support during client engagements.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field of study and strong academic
  • Must have 10 or more years of experience in Cloud Technology, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • One or more security certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, MCSA, or Azure is required.
  • Advanced exposure to containerization technology (Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation techniques and technologies.
  • Advanced level of understanding of technologies including information security, applications, infrastructure, networking, telephony, virtualization, storage, data protection, cloud and VDI solutions.
  • Experience with SaaS and Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure) infrastructure and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience managing and leading high-performing infrastructure teams, including remote and cross-functional members.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
