About the role …

 

Sapiens are proud and privileged to provide technology platforms and services that power over 600 insurance organisations globally. Our largest and most strategic customers are part of our VIP Ambassador Programme, and your role will be to look after two or three of these key customers who are based in the UK and Europe.

 

Mainly based in the UK, with travel across Europe to meet with clients, your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • The “up-sell” and “cross-sell” to existing Property & Casualty (P&C) VIP customers for Sapiens Digital, Core, Reinsurance, Decision, Data, Cloud and Ecosystem capabilities.

 

  • Ensuring that customers are fully aware of the entirety of the Sapiens Insurance Platform capabilities in P&C, and where appropriate, Life & Pensions and Reinsurance.

 

  • Identifying new opportunities within the existing customer, through penetrating the account wider and deeper across other business units and territories.

 

  • Creating winning proposals, managing the estimating process, and driving thought-leadership into the customer accounts.

 

  • Customer retention: ensuring all customers are retained and renewed. Strategic account plans should be produced detailing their strategy, business, people and alignment to Sapiens’s people and propositions.

 

  • Customer balanced scorecard: ensuring that Sapiens is always well positioned and perceived by our customers.

 

  • Ensuring our customers benefit from the use of the current (latest) versions of Sapiens software through incremental upgrades by articulating the benefits of the new features and selling the services to provide the upgrade.

 

  • Accurately forecasting and tracking new sales opportunities including coordinating the internal stakeholders to support the up-sell/cross-sell.

 

Key skills & requirements …

 

Essential

 

  • 10-years or more experience directly involved in software sales to the P&C insurance sector.

  • An understanding of the P&C insurance marketplace across multiple geographies.

  • Account management experience of growing existing customers.

  • Core insurance PAS knowledge.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • A can-do attitude and the ability to work in a matrix environment.

  • Effective written and verbal communications skills.

  • Ability to engage effectively at CxO level.

Desirable

 

  • Knowledge of SaaS/PaaS solutions.

  • Experience of selling digital solutions to insurers for their B2C/B2B channels.

  • Experience of cloud hosting and data intelligence solutions.

  • Multi-language (German, Dutch, Portuguese, or French).

Ideal qualifications/education …

 

  • Minimum A-level educated (preferably degree level) or equivalent experience.
