VP Marketing, North America

Sapiens is looking for a VP Marketing who will spearhead the marketing activities for the company in North America. This role will lead awareness and demand generation activities to support the growth of key regional market segments in line with the business objectives. This person will manage regional marketing efforts and coordinate the regional lead generation activities, working closely with sales, the product owners and the corporate marketing function. This individual will be responsible for implementing the marketing strategy and go-to-market of Sapiens in North America, across different lines of business and segments.

The position requires a deep understanding of marketing practices, esp. in North America market, as well as insurance expertise. This individual is expected to serve as a focal point for all marketing activities at a regional level, and will report to Sapiens Chief Marketing Officer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define specific regional marketing goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase Sapiens brand awareness.
  • Work together with sales, product leads and corporate teams to develop and plan regional marketing campaigns.
  • Lead all aspects of content creation, development and delivery against an editorial calendar geared toward market awareness and lead generation. Target audiences include CxOs, decision makers in insurance companies.
  • Lead GTM planning and execution in penetrating new markets, promote business expansion opportunities in current markets.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of industry tradeshows.
  • Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of marketing activity and adjust future plans accordingly.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
  • Manage a team of marketing directors



  • At least ten years of experience in similar roles Insurance/Financial companies in software/services.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a marketing team to achieve strategic company objectives.
  • Proven track record in creating and implementing successful strategies to generate awareness and market demand.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and hands-on.
  • Strong Client facing experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in leading and working with remote teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
