New opportunity for a Business Controller – FP&A in Vilnius! If you have 2-3 years’ experience of Financial Planning & Analysis and would like to gain some excellent experience within a successful international team, this could be the role for you.

 

About the role

We are looking for a Business Controller to play a key role in the business’s finance function, working closely with the business and building the overview of both financial and operational data historically, actuals and forecast/budget.

You will also:

  • Be a part of a small but very dedicated team with a high degree of trust and possibility to influence things
  • Report directly to the Director of FP&A, working closely with the other Business Controller and the Accounting Department, as well as other colleagues outside finance, such as Project Managers and the Project Management Office.
  • Be a vital partner for the organization. You will track projects with a portfolio of customers and/or project managers and provide insight, support, and advice as well as generating accurate reports, i.e. revenue and profitability reporting and forecasts.
  • Work with the PMO office and the project managers on securing the correct setup for tracking the operational data, i.e. projects for time registration, and use this to secure relevant reports for utilization.
  • Be on top of the forecast and the assumptions behind, and you will be involved in service orders and other customer agreements.
  • Work with the accounting department to ensure that they have the correct data for invoicing and revenue recognition.

 

About you

  • You will hold a degree in Finance, or an equivalent qualification
  • You will have 2-3 years’ experience from a similar position, maybe in a large Finance function where you have learned the discipline of business controlling and supporting the business
  • You are proactive and enjoy being close to the engine room and getting things done, working independently, and taking ownership of your area of responsibility
  • It is a great advantage if you have experience working within professional services and/or projects or time registration
  • You are an expert user of Excel and have experience extracting data from ERP-systems
  • As a person, you are motivated by learning new things and understanding what lies behind the numbers
  • You can analyze data and understand how it was generated and to evaluate if there is a better way to reflect and predict business performance
  • You will have excellent collaboration skills as you will be working with colleagues from a number of departments, countries, and cultures
  • You possess the financial skills and analytical ability to check if the numbers add up, and you have a professional pride that drives you to deliver quality on time – and also to speak your mind and challenge poor decisions or plans.
  • You will be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills
  • You are willing to travel twice per year to Denmark.
