Junior technical consultant (TIA)

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Junior Tia Technical Consultant to become a key player in our Lithuania’s team. If you have Oracle technologies knowledge and passion for technical consulting, and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

Location: Lvivo 101, Vilnius, Lithuania

Working Model: Hybrid (after probation period)

This position will be part of Sapiens’ P&C division.

What you’ll do:

• Technical design work, development, configuration and set up in relation to Tia implementations
• Performing and optimizing customers’ upgrades to new versions of Tia Solution
• Participation in technical product and skills workshops
• Review of requirements and technical design along with QA of set-up, design, architecture and infrastructure
• Performance optimization
• Contributing to technical documentation

What to Have for this position:

• Experience with implementation of standard solutions applying Agile and waterfall methods;
• Experience working with Oracle-based business systems (Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, ADF, Oracle database, and WebLogic);
• Some Background in requirement gathering & mapping users’ needs;
• Fluency in English;
• Passion for learning and aiming to become a well-rounded Technical consultant.

Good to have any of these skills:

• Knowledge of insurance, financial services, and InsurTech of FinTech ecosystems are all welcome additions;
• Experience working with the Tia solution;
• Familiarity with Java EE and experience developing web-based solutions on the platform, for example, JPA/JSP/JSF/Struts;
• Experience working with web services (SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST) and Java.
• Relevant degree in Actuarial Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering,  or similar.
