Senior Frontend engineer

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Senior Frontend engineer to become a key player in our TIA team. If you're a seasoned React pro and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

Location: Lvivo 101, Vilnius, Lithuania

Working Model: Hybrid (after probation period)

This position will be part of Sapiens’ P&C Division.

What you’ll do:

• Teach others and learn yourself!
• As a member of the Digital team you will be enhancing, cloud-based digital solutions, and maintaining their high level of quality.
• You will take an active part in all development phases, including research, design, development, testing, maintenance, CI and CD using frontline and best technologies including React, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
• You will be expected to take an initiative approach to improve the code, tools, and process we are using. Be open-minded to walk in a different path and deliver quickly whilst maintaining high quality and establishing best practices for team members in the frontend area.
• Play a role in the entire life cycle of development you have to be motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects from end to end.
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet product deadlines.
• Effectively communicate task progress, problems/risks, and design solutions together with team members and the product owner.
• Writing tests scripts with cypress
• As a member of the Digital team, you will be involved in implementation of solutions for complex situations.

• At least 4+ years of experience working with React
• Great team player, an innovator at heart with excellent interpersonal skills who is passionate about technology, have a strong interest in the latest technologies.
• Understanding of backend services – JAVA, or alternative
• Excellent technical and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of REST API´s.
• Prior experience working in an Agile team is preferred.
• Since we are an international company, you‘ll need to be comfortable communicating in English.
