Solution Architect (TIA)

You will join Delivery team in Tia R&D department, which is leading architecture and mutual practices of our software delivery and takes care of internal operations in R&D. Team is working on a mission to deliver our products in modern though sustainable manner and is looking for a Solution Architect to work closely with product team and elevate delivery process and practicalities.

The solution architect is primarily responsible for defining, evolving, and articulating the architecture for Tia’s products to help our customers succeed in the global insurance market.

 

Location: Lvivo str. 101, Vilnius, Lithuania

Working Model: Hybrid

This position will be part of Sapiens’ P&C division.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Define, evolve, and articulate the architecture of our core solutions taking both customer needs and technology trends into consideration.
  • Lead our future architectural journey towards role-based UXs (mid-term) and microservices (long-term).
  • Align the architecture for Sapiens with company-wide Next-Gen Architecture roadmap.
  • Help our squads (teams) in R&D understand and implement the architecture, so we reap the benefits of the architectural choices.
  • Be last line of defence of architectural issues and ensure they are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Investigate new technologies and tools for incorporation into R&D and take ownership of shared projects and solutions.
  • Ensure that our solutions follow security best practices in all operations by acting as a liaison between R&D and the security team.

What to Have for this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Oracle technologies, such as Oracle ADF (or another JSF-like framework) and Oracle Database.
  • Java, including experience with Spring Boot.
  • React or similar SPA-styled libraries or frameworks.
  • REST APIs that exposed to and used by customers and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Git for version control.
  • Understanding of Linux-based systems and shell scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluent English.

 

 Good to have:

  • Knowledge of TIA products or other insurance/financial services.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Experience in writing CI/CD pipelines, including automated tests and static code analysis.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes.
