Sapiens Norway is urgently seeking a Project Manager who will work onsite with our client in Oslo.  If you are an experienced Project Manager, based in Oslo, and you enjoy managing large-scale software development projects, this is the role for you.

 

Working Model: Hybrid (ideally matching the client in terms of days in office)

 

The main responsibilities are:

 

  • Leading project implementations of a major application system, at a large client, and ongoing projects.
  • Owning the project delivery to the client, with goals for customer satisfaction, revenue, profitability.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, managers, and key focal points of the client, to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Implementing the defined governance processes.
  • Planning, managing, and tracking the results of the project.
  • Conducting regular Project reviews, including stakeholder reviews to ensure timelines, costs, and quality of delivery are met.
  • Co-ordinating across various delivery teams.
  • Conducting reviews with all delivery teams, to ensure project deliverables are regularly met,  issues are addressed, and delivery SLAs are met.
  • Formalizing the acceptance of the project results, ensuring that the benefits realization have been achieved.
  • Expanding the customer relationship beyond the existing projects.

 

 The main requirements are:

 

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in project management.
  • Experienced in the project management of software product implementation.
  • Familiarity with the insurance domain/financial services is an advantage.
  • Experience of working directly with international customers.
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment.
  • Must be open to travel and work across time zones.
  • Experienced with using different project management tools - e.g. MS Project, Jira, Sciforma.
  • Experience with Managing the P&L for the business with the customer and responsible for meeting the AOP targets.
  • A PMP or Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP) is preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to make friends and influence people.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
