Role & Responsibilities:

• As part of the Sapiens L&P Team, you will be testing and automating a complex, highly available, flexible, extensible, multi-tier applications and maintains its high level of quality.
• Take complete ownership of QA deliverables with a strong “can-do” attitude and accountability for end-to-end quality.
• Proactively think beyond conventional approaches, bringing innovative ideas to enhance automation frameworks, improve test coverage, lead projects and optimize execution efficiency.
• Design, create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, integration, sanity, and end-to-end (E2E) scenarios.
• Collaborate with QA Managers, Project Leads, Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, Developers, and cross-functional teams to design efficient test cases and align quality goals.
• Perform API testing, ETL Testing, Functional Testing and Automation using relevant tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis of production issues related to test gaps; report bugs and errors to development teams.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), analyse pipeline failures and optimize execution time and reliability.
• Drive best practices for test automation, CI/CD integration, and test data management.
• Work collaboratively in Agile teams and actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work on globally distributed projects and adapt to different time zones as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer or in a similar role
• Hands-on experience in API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong experience in Selenium framework creation and maintenance using Java.
• Hands-on experience in automation using Java, Python, or JavaScript for framework and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (Git).
• Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience working on SQL Queries for backend data validation and testing.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and build/automation processes.
• Working knowledge of test management tools (e.g., qTest, QC) and Jira.
• Knowledge of ETL testing is an added advantage.
• Prior experience in the Life Insurance domain is preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Educational Qualification: 15 years of full-time education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
