Senior Project Manager

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager – Transformation Office serves as the backbone of our enterprise-wide transformation programme. This is a high-impact, highly visible leadership role responsible for orchestrating complex, cross-functional initiatives from initiation through to successful delivery. The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination across all business units, ensuring strategic alignment, executive engagement, and relentless focus on outcomes.
Location: Bangalore

What you’ll do:
Programme Leadership
▪    Own the end-to-end delivery of the transformation programme across all business units and functions.
▪    Define and maintain a master programme plan, including milestones, dependencies, critical path, and risk register.
▪    Drive programme governance, ensuring decisions are made at the right level and with the right stakeholders.
▪    Lead and coordinate programme workstreams, aligning all project managers and stream leads to a unified delivery framework.
Executive Engagement & Stakeholder Management
▪    Serve as the primary liaison between the Transformation Office and C-suite / executive leadership.
▪    Prepare and deliver high-quality executive steering committee updates, board-level presentations, and leadership briefings.
▪    Build trusted relationships across senior stakeholders, navigating competing priorities with confidence and diplomacy.
▪    Proactively identify executive-level blockers and escalate appropriately, with clear recommendations.
Reporting & Progress Management
▪    Design and maintain a robust programme reporting cadence — tracking milestones, RAG status, risks, issues, and decisions.
▪    Produce clear, concise, and visually compelling status reports and dashboards for multiple audiences.
▪    Hold teams accountable to commitments through structured follow-up, clear action ownership, and deadline enforcement.
Ensure timely escalation of issues that threaten programme delivery or strategic objectives.

Communication & Presentation
▪    Author, structure, and deliver compelling presentations using PowerPoint and other business communication tools.
▪    Translate complex programme status and strategic progress into clear, executive-appropriate narratives.
▪    Facilitate programme workshops, steering committees, town halls, and team syncs with professionalism and clarity.
Champion transparent communication across all teams involved in the transformation

What to Have for this position.
Must have Skills:
Education & Certifications
▪    Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
▪    Project/Programme Management certification strongly preferred: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent.
Professional Experience
▪    8+ years of experience in project or programme management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional programmes.
▪    Demonstrated experience working directly with and presenting to C-level executives and senior leadership.
▪    Prior experience in a transformation, change management, or strategic execution function is a strong advantage.
▪    Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and steering diverse stakeholder groups toward shared goals.

What Success Looks Like
Within the first 6 months, the Senior Project Manager will be expected to:
1    Establish a clear, approved programme plan with full visibility across all workstreams and teams.
2    Build credibility with executive stakeholders through reliable, structured, and insightful reporting.
3    Implement a tracking and accountability mechanism that drives on-time delivery across all programme milestones.
4    Demonstrate proactive risk management — surfacing issues early and owning resolution.
5    Be regarded as the go-to person for programme clarity, direction, and escalation.
