Sapiens is on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to become a key player in our Polish team. If you're a Senior Accountant and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

We are looking for a candidate that will join Sapiens regional office overseeing finance, accounting and payroll for 3-4 countries. We work in small team of 4-5 professionals and we offer challenging position in fast growing entity from IT industry. We give the opportunity to learn and develop. We look for candidate that will manage and process all payroll information and will be working closely with external service providers. The candidate will have the opportunity to develop both in the area of payroll as well as basics of accounting. 

Job Descriptions:

• Preparation of journal entries and posting accounting documents
• Bank payments and reconciliations
• Drafting VAT and CIT returns
• Active participation in closing month / quarter / year
• Checks and bookkeeping of travel reports
• Assistance in statutory reporting (e.g. statistical reports, National Bank, other)
• Assistance for accounting of other sister companies from other countries (Nordics, Western Europe)

Requirements: 

• Min 6-10 years of experience as a bookkeeper / accountant
• Experience in overall accounting processes (e.g. billing / collections, payments / Banks and monthly closing)
• Understanding of local tax environment (VAT / CIT / other)
• Good English in writing and speaking
• Experience in Hi-Tech companies – Big advantage
• Good MS Office and Excel skills
• Familiarity with Sap Business 1- will be advantage
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Organized and reliable with great attention to details
